Fragrant Letters – A Sensory Adventure with Scents

As part of the “Body and Senses” project, the children explored their sense of smell. The aim was to consciously perceive sensory experiences, describe them verbally, and process them creatively. The project allowed the children to have holistic experiences with all their senses.

On the construction site – Creative design with geometric shapes

The careers project introduced the Mice Group to the world of construction sites. They learned about tasks, work processes, and different pieces of equipment and machines, and geometric shapes like circle, rectangle, and triangle. The children also contributed many of their own observations and experiences.

Perception and Self-Image: My Body – This Is Me!

From body size and body parts to self-awareness: as part of a project, the children of the Wolf Group examined their own bodies. The focus was on diversity, body awareness, and first encounters with mathematical concepts such as size and length. The children traced life-sized outlines of their bodies onto large sheets of paper. This allowed them to explore and observe their own bodies from a completely new perspective.

Volcanic Eruption in the Kindergarten: Experimenting with Imagination

In the creativity area “Discovering, Exploring, Inventing” the children of the Wolf Group immersed themselves in an imaginative, magical, and exciting world of experiences, featuring a spectacular volcanic eruption, dinosaurs, and unicorns. The project impressively demonstrated how learning can be designed in a creative, playful, and holistic way through the combination of imagination, experimentation, and active engagement.

My Future Self: Discovering Careers in a Creative Way

“What would I like to be when I grow up?” – As part of the careers project, the children explored their own future in an intensive way. The aim of the project was to give children the opportunity to get to know different professions and to express their personal interests, wishes, and ideas creatively.

Career project in the preschool

We started a new career project in the preschool that allows the children to get to know different professions and supports important social, personal, and cognitive skills. In the coming weeks, we will document how the children carry out their roles and which competencies they develop throughout the process. We are excited to continue observing and supporting this enriching learning experience.

Graphomotor: Exercises for developing writing skills

With clay and a lot of swing, we trained fine motor skills, hand muscles, dexterity, concentration, and hand-eye coordination. From loops to zig-zags – the children get a paper with various shapes on it. Then the clay come into play: the children first rolls long clay snakes and uses them to trace the shapes.
