Unser Müllprojekt: Von Mülltrennung und Recycling
Unser Müllprojekt endet – und wir sind stolz auf das, was die Kinder erreicht haben! Wir sind zu echten Mülltrenn-Profis geworden. Wir haben nicht nur theoretisch über die Bedeutung von Mülltrennung und Recycling gesprochen, sondern auch tatkräftig gehandelt. Auch Bewegung kam nicht zu kurz: Im Sportraum wartete ein spannendes Spiel auf uns. Zwei Gruppen traten gegeneinander an, um einen großen Müllberg aus Rest-, Plastik- und Papiermüll so schnell wie möglich in die richtigen Tonnen zu sortieren. Dabei lernten die Kinder, wie wichtig Teamarbeit, Schnelligkeit und richtige Mülltrennung sind.
Im Atelier wurde es kreativ: Die Kinder gestalteten große Mülltonnen-Collagen, schnitten aus Prospekten verschiedene Dinge aus und ordneten sie den passenden Tonnen zu. So erfuhren sie spielerisch, welche Materialien wohin gehören.
Der Höhepunkt unseres Projekts: Zum Jahresabschluss haben wir aus selbst geschreddertem Altpapier neues Papier geschöpft und daraus liebevoll Wichtelköpfe gebastelt. So konnten die Kinder den Recyclingkreislauf hautnah erleben und verstehen, wie aus „altem“ Material etwas Neues entsteht.
Unser Müllprojekt hat viele Bildungsbereiche miteinander verbunden:
- Umweltbildung: Bewusstsein für Mülltrennung und Recycling
- Motorik: Bewegungsspiele im Sportraum
- Kreativität: Collagen und Wichtelköpfe im Atelier
- Sozialkompetenz: Zusammenarbeit in Teams
Wir sind stolz auf das Engagement der Kinder und freuen uns, dass sie mit so viel Freude und Neugier dabei waren!
Our waste project: Waste separation and recycling
Our waste project is coming to an end – and we are proud of what the children have achieved! We have become real waste separation pros. We didn’t just talk about the importance of waste separation and recycling in theory, we also took action. There was also plenty of exercise: an exciting game awaited us in the sports hall. Two groups competed against each other to sort a large mountain of residual, plastic and paper waste into the correct bins as quickly as possible. In the process, the children learned how important teamwork, speed and proper waste separation are.
Things got creative in the studio: the children created large bin collages, cut out various items from brochures and sorted them into the appropriate bins. This taught them in a playful way which materials belong where.
The highlight of our project: at the end of the year, we made new paper from shredded waste paper and lovingly crafted elf heads out of it. This allowed the children to experience the recycling cycle first-hand and understand how something new can be created from ‘old’ material.
Our waste project brought together many areas of education:
- Environmental education: awareness of waste separation and recycling
- Motor skills: movement games in the sports hall
- Creativity: collages and elf heads in the art studio
- Social skills: teamwork
