Eine Reise um die Welt – Bilinguales Adventsprojekt
Im Dezember findet für die Kinder ein ganz besonderes gestaltetes, bilinguales Angebot statt. Unter dem Motto „Eine Reise um die Welt” entdecken wir gemeinsam Tiere aus verschiedenen Kontinenten – verpackt in einem adventlichen Lernabenteuer. In unserem bilingualen Weihnachtskalender verbirgt sich hinter jedem Säckchen ein Tier aus einem anderen Teil der Erde. Gemeinsam mit den Kindern wird ein Blick auf den Globus geworfen, um herauszufinden, wo diese Tiere leben. Der Fokus liegt im Dezember auf Europa und der Antarktis. Ab Januar wird die Reise fortgesetzt und weitere spannende Lebensräume weltweit erkundet.
Das Projekt wird begleitet durch vielfältiges bilinguales Sprachmaterial, passende Lieder, Geschichten und Gespräche rund um Tiere, Länder und Kulturen. So werden nicht nur die Sprachkompetenzen der Kinder gestärkt, sondern auch ihr Wissen über die Vielfalt unserer Welt.
„Tee Time“ – Werte spielerisch entdecken
Es findet zusätzlich eine wöchentliche „Tee Time” in Kleingruppen statt. Bei einer gemütlichen Tasse Tee sprechen die Kinder über Werte und Haltungen, die im Alltag wichtig sind – etwa Freundschaft, Hilfsbereitschaft, Mut oder Rücksichtnahme. Unter dem Titel „Virtues In Us” werden diese Themen in beiden Sprachen spielerisch aufgegriffen. Ziel ist es, die sprachliche Ausdrucksfähigkeit ebenso zu fördern wie das soziale und emotionale Lernen.
A journey around the world – bilingual Advent project
In December, we have a very special bilingual activity for the children. Under the motto “A journey around the world”, we discover animals from different continents together – wrapped up in an Advent learning adventure. In our bilingual Christmas calendar, behind each bag is an animal from a different part of the world. Together with the children, we take a look at the globe to find out where these animals live. In December, the focus is on Europe and Antarctica. From January onwards, the journey continues and we explore other exciting habitats around the world.
The project is accompanied by a variety of bilingual language materials, appropriate songs, stories and discussions about animals, countries and cultures. This not only strengthens the children’s language skills, but also their knowledge of the diversity of our world.
“Tea Time” – discovering values through play
There is also a weekly ‘Tea Time’ in small groups. Over a cosy cup of tea, the children talk about values and attitudes that are important in everyday life – such as friendship, helpfulness, courage and consideration. Under the title “Virtues In Us”, these topics are explored in a playful way in both languages. The aim is to promote linguistic expression as well as social and emotional learning.
