From Nature to Art
As part of their Land-Art-Project, the children from the “Hedgehog”- Group went on an excursion to the park at Baltenring. For our monthly theme, the children were encouraged to try things, be creative, and bring their own ideas into it. They used postcards as a base and arranged and attached natural materials in different ways. Each child decides what their artwork should look like. In this way, many wonderful and unique nature-inspired artworks were made.
Sensory Experiences
In addition to their individual Land-Artworks, the children got a wide range of experiences. During our excursion, they discovered their surroundings and opened all their senses. The children found different shapes and colours, felt many materials, and listened to the sounds of nature. While they collecting, sorting, arranging, and creating, the children also playfully developed their fine motor skills, concentration, coordination, and sense of aesthetics.
